Handmade fishing lures - Murray cod

Even though it wasn't yet rigged with hooks, I took the experimental hot glue shrimp lure out to see how it would swim.

It didn't.

But the fish still liked it.

There are no hooks on this lure as I was just testing the way it moved in the water, but a large murray cod (large by my standards) tried to take it. I guess it would have been around as long as my arm. I think I did well to keep the swearing inside my head as it appeared right at my feet.
